Comments Thread For: CompuBox: Inside The Numbers - The Body Shot Report

Last Saturday, Vasiliy Lomachenko stopped Jorge Linares with body shot heard round the world. Ironically, Lomachenko ranks near the bottom of the list of top body punchers in the game today. So do fellow pound for pound contenders Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua, Mikey Garcia, GGG, Oleksandr Usyk and Billy Joe Saunders. the greatest boxer of all time never threw a body shot

Muhammad Ali - almost every punch he threw was to the head! Watch footage of his fights: it was extremely rare for him to throw a punch to the body. Truly exceptional. Just about every other great fighter would throw at least some body punches, but not Ali.
      Anyone disagree?

It amazes me that these compubox guys probably make a nice paycheck and get to go to all the big fights for selling ****. A 1 year old randomly pressing the controls could probably come up with more accurate numbers.
