Former world middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (50-3-1, 32 KOs) has been out of the ring since May 2017, when he suffered a one-sided twelve round decision loss to Mexican rival Canelo Alvarez at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The contest took place at a catch-weight of 164.5-pounds - which was the lowest weight of Chavez's career since 2012.
