Again, not a Golovkin fan, not a Canelo fan. The problem with the hair follicle test is that they refused it until about 2 and a half months later, and if you do a little research online, there are many articles about being able to beat hair tests after only a few months.

I don’t know if he’s a cheat for certain or not. Fighters and promoters have talked about how abnormal he’s looked at weigh-ins, his stamina issues miraculously disappearing, and his failed test was 8 weeks before the rematch was supposed to happen, which Eddie Hearn confirms is when VADA doctors say a cheat will normally cycle off, “which again don’t look good” (Eddie).

We’ll now see if his physical stature changes, as well as his stamina. Golden Boy definitely has played a lot of games throughout the course of this with not having him enrolled in the clean boxing and waiting months for follicle tests. They have a propensity to treat the boxing public like they’re feeble minded, which does come as ironic to me with a guy that dresses in drag and shoves kitchen utensils up his hiney at the helm. Sadly, this all reflects poorly on Canelo. He should jump ship. He could self promote and make the same at this point.

Uh, pretty sure he did. Maybe you're thinking of Jacobs, because he came in at more than 10 lbs over the weigh-in limit on fight night.

nope, he's right, Canelo had thrown a fit at the wbc for trying to enforce ggg as a mandatory. He didn't fight for the wbc since his mismatch vs khan.

Soon GGG will learn what an angry Mexican will do to him.
you sound like a complete idiot. Canelo has quickly gone on to become boxings biggest joke and an angry canelo would get his ass knocked out by ggg. His best bet is to fight like the scared Mexican we all know he is.

It was still on the line. Whether he would have accepted it or not isn't known. At this point, can you really bank on anything Canelo says? Think about it. The guy says one thing, then the opposite like a woman does.

It was still officially listed as being on the line. I haven't seen any official indication that he wouldn't accept it if he had won. I would think that the belt would not have been officially listed.
