NEW YORK Sergey Kovalev considers Dmitry Bivol an elite light heavyweight, even though Bivol has just 13 fights on his professional record. The WBO 175-pound champion also feels they're one step closer toward fighting in what would be an intriguing light heavyweight title unification bout. Main Events needs Bivol to be its future star when Kovalev retires, so I don't see this fight happening until 1 Bivol is definitely ready and 2 Kovalev is running out of good performances.

Young upcoming powerful guy? He will train like a race horse for this fight, his fire will be insane cuz a win will catapult his stock and after all the beatdowns he has been handing out, his confidence will be through the roof.

I will be shocked if Kovalev wins this one.
