Comments Thread For: Horn: Crawford Trying To Play Mind Games - It Motivates Me

WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn (18-0-1, 12 KOs) believes mandatory challenger Terence Crawford (32-0, 23 KOs) is trying to play mind games with him. The two sides were set to fight in April at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, but the contest was pushed back after Crawford withdrew with a hand injury. Initially the contest was going to happen in New York City at Madison Square Garden, before shifting to Las Vegas.

This guy is seriously deluded if he thinks Crawford is playing mind games by changing the date, I'm sure crawford wants to just get this fight out the way so he can have bigger fights at 147

crawford wasn't ready to face horn that's why he fake his injury to postpone the fight.

I haven't heard too much from Crawford leading up to this fight, but Horn has been acting like he's in the biggest trash-talk buildup in boxing history or something. Maybe he's been watching too much WWE.

I don't know how Horn can blame Crawford for "mind games" when Horn's the one who won't shut up

Horn strikes me as someone with diminished mental capacity or who is just out of touch. I'm not angry at the dude or anything like that, he just says the weirdest shyt, over and over. It doesn't even sound like trash talk, it just sounds like he has no clue why everyone thinks Crawford is going to *** his world up.

No, ESPN didn't have their ****** app ready. That's really why it was postponed.

... anyway one wants to put it... Crawford is fighting for the first time (ever) at 147, and he's fighting the very "champ" who beat Pacman... is it wrong?...

I respect it. More fighters should go after champions.

What's disappointing is that people are giving The Hornet zero chance when I'm reality, the only real advantage Crawford has here is speed. Everything else is against him:

                    Weight: he's never fought at

                    Size: Horn is huge

Power: he's an accumulation KO puncher. So was Manny and we saw what happened there

On top of that he'll be in there with a true bully.

I think Crawford wins, but I don't see him walking through The Hornet.
