        He handled the knockdown very well and stayed calm. He is a fearless, smart thinker in the ring with his father giving him great advice in the corner between rounds.

          Good work. FYI his amateur record was 396-1 though not 398-2.

          This was my favorite type of Boxing match. High speed skill, excellent technique, some drama and momentum changes. I was lucky enough to have been there and felt it was a privilege. My utmost respect to BOTH warriors. I felt Loma was largely in control through (I gave Linares two or three rounds), but Linares made him think and work harder than usual the whole way.
