well thats exactly it, this announcement seems about as sincere as the one by Oscar who stated weeks ago that Canelo would be testing every day up until the fight...so now we have heard 2 versions of this claim but no date, or time, or any statements from VADA / nsac / or media...not a hater, as some might think, its just there is already a 10 year age gap, Canelo being at the age of physical peak while GGG is well past 35, an age where most athletes are on the downside/ retiring... so just looking for the most level playing field we can get.

If he starts now it's a good decision. It should go a long way in removing the cloud over the rematch. I'm not going to get into whether he was forced into it or not but there will be a level playing field.

Still ain't sure based on the scientific evidence whether Canelo was using Clen as a PED or not, but regardless this is a step he should have taken a month ago.

We only need to wait for the press release from VADA, that's fan base pressure for you people, they knew if they didn't do something with all this mess, that Canelo would take a big dive in fans willing to pay to see a cheat. This is how we pressure fighters and promoters to do things right, hope people are this willing to give bad promo to anyone not doing things right, like for instance, if GGG takes on another soft fight like Vanes, we do the same, I only gave him kind of a free pass due to the short time due to this debacle, I do know that training for someone dangerous takes time and boxers try to prepare for the opposition they take, so probably he wasnt prepared for the rusian, still his pick rised eyebrows and is something that should not happen again or he will be get more bad press.
