You kinda confused me with the “Loma’s caliber” comment. He just went life and death with a B- fighter. So does that make him B caliber?
Life and death, more drama son...you cant use "life and death" with that fight. Competitive is the right word. Oh there was a stoppage just to remind you.

Life and death fights are Castillo vs Corrales. This was his first fight at 135 just to remind you also. And unforgiving so called "experts" like you need to be corrected. You cant judge a fighter with this one fight. Ever heard the word progress and adapting to the weight. SMH.

Loma is a natural featherweight -- a good one, maybe even a great one -- but he is still a featherweight. Fighting elite 140 and 147 lb fighters is a bridge too far. I admire his courage, but there are limits.

Sure give Beltran a retirement cheque, he deserves it

But let’s not act like Beltran/Loma is a good fight because it isn’t

I don’t know if Beltran should even have his strap I don’t even think he beat the African dude

          Most likely, this happens.

I see Loma beating him but in this new division, every fight has potential now.

Plus, Beltran deserves a good payday.

exactly. And how often do you get to win a belt and have a soft touch in the same night?

              Beltran Loma

People forget, Beltran was robbed of the belt in Scotland, should have been the world champ years ago. Beltran went the distance with Crawford. Crawford even states that Beltran has the heaviest hands hes ever faced.
Beltran had years of sparring with Manny at his best.
Salido wouldn't beat Beltran but he beat Loma. Beltran is top contender!
