I’ve boxed before and was undefeated, a golden gloves champion, highly touted, and a projected Olympian before a detached retina forced me to hang them up. And I came back to help some great middleweights for a short period. I’ve been a boxing gym rat my entire life. But threads like this are really for wannabe fighters, imaginary wannabe fans; who never had the freakin heart to get into the ring and take a blow or try to avoid one. So they sit back and disperse a bunch of idiotic rhetoric. And their posts are really comical because they don’t really know s...about “real boxing” and all the nuances inside the ring. Some fighters read posts here and start laughing in the gym. Arm chair QB’s who don’t know anything about boxing. They just go on and on and talk about nothing that has anything to do with what actually happens inside the ring. They don’t understand matchups, and body positioning, and footwork, and leverage and something as simple as controlling your breathing within a round or throughout a fight. I’ve been around some great fighters and trainers also who believe a lot of the boxing experts are a joke to because none of them actually got into a ring either. They laugh at that over weight joke Dan Rafael. He reads from a freaking teleprompter-LOL. Teddy atlas is the only commentator or so called boxing expert that fighters actual have a little respect for but they think he is a joke too. I’ve been around people who commentate during fights and they actually told me the networks are telling us to pump up certain fighters for revenue purposes when we get in the air. Its all about building a public perception to cash in short term and long term. A lot of the losers here are caught up in the brain washing and propaganda. Until the network decides a fighter isn’t cashable and then they allow them to get exposed and build up another one. But fulfill your fantasy here instead of having the heart to at least go to a gym and spare at least 1 time. Undisputed Dummy-LOL. Your ranking is based on a lot of posts; not any “real” knowledge about boxing, remember that-Undisputed Loser-but I love reading the “amateur posts here and messing with people here. It’s very entertaining. But there are a number of boxing gyms across the US, you should try one instead of pretending on here that you are a real boxing fan. You would probably get your ass kicked though-LOL!LOL!LOL!LOL!LOL!

You know nothing about irony do you?

    God you're such a clown.

And did you need to put that many LOL's in there? Weirdo.

Well good thing for us that you know more about boxing than experts who have followed the boxing for decades. There is a big dilemma in quantum physics around the implications of string theory. It seems Hawking, Feynman and the rest of that gang don't know sh...about it. Perhaps you can turn your attention to that problem and shed some light on those issues. There is a Nobel prize in it for you.
A point well made and a great sense of humor, that was funny.

The liver shot has to be thrown at an precise angle. In order to achieve the slight upward angle and get up under those floating ribs, the perfect punch is a hybrid between the left hook and left uppercut, referred to as a “shovel punch.” The shovel is a beautiful punch, but it needs to be set up as most power punches do just like Lomo did the ENTIRE fight. When a fight dehydrates a lot like Linares did blowing up to 152, he is more of a target for this strategy. The best way to set up a shovel is to first, of course, avoid getting hit and move inside off a slip or a bob and weave to your left and throw it. During the initial force of a liver strike, the nerves in the area are impacted and undergo tiny chemical reactions with every electrical nerve impulse. With a hard enough hit, the chemical reactions in these nerves become unbalanced, and the resulting shock travels along the “vagal nerve” network. It takes time for the nerves to recover from this shock, which can result in a brief loss of breath or even a sensation of temporary paralysis. It’s like hitting your funny bone, but on a much larger scale. Additionally, more severe activation of the vagus nerve can cause a simultaneous cardioinhibitory and vasodepressive response, meaning a rapid drop in heart rate as well as a sharp drop in blood pressure. Most people experience a mixed response of the two, ultimately resulting in syncope, or fainting. The occurrence of vasovagal syncope is amplified by pain, high stress, and dehydration, all of which are commonly present in a fight setting. Enough damage to the vagus nerve can result in long-term vagal dysfunctions, such as irregular heartbeat, difficulty swallowing and breathing, and digestive disorders. However, if you’re lucky enough to endure a liver shot and still retain consciousness, don’t consider yourself off the hook. Blunt force to the livercan still result in crushing of blood vessels as well as liver lacerations or tears, causing internal bleeding. The structures in proximity to the liver, such as the pancreas and spleen, are subject to laceration and puncture. Rib fractures are also a concern. While a formidable tactic which will render your opponent senseless, being on the receiving end of a liver shot can be cause for concern far beyond the loss of a single fight. So Linares won’t fight anytime soon. That needs to be monitored going forward.
You've sparred a few times? But I thought you won the Golden Gloves tournament? Surely you'd be doing a whole lot more than sparring a few times to compete?

You're obviously a delusional idiot who thinks he impresses people on line by lying about things he clearly hasn't done. You're just a sad bitter and twisted little no-mark who has no life so comes on here to fill your time by being a massive c*nt.

Get a life you creepy weirdo. You haven't boxed with anybody. That is very clear by the way you present yourself.

The vast majority either missed, caught arms and gloves, or just grazed Loma. There weren't many clean punches landed.
I think that you only saw what you wanted to see. The stats seemed to line up with what I saw. The round before linares quit, he actually hit loma with a 6 punch combo that I’ve never seen landed on a top notch fighter before.

No, i saw exactly what happened.

And that 6 punch combo of hooks, was actually one of the rare time Linares landed anything clean. Loma rode the punches though so they had little to no effect.

I can dig it. But remember, Mikeys been dropped by a smaller guy too. The right shot, well placed takes care of that issue. I say Loma/Mikey is 50/50. May the best man win

135 is mos def his ceiling. As for "lucky punch"? He damn near threw a 10 punch combo with "la gancha" being the cherry on top! Id expect these bigger and just as talented guys to hit Loma, but for all that being hit, It was Linares who looked like he was the one getting tagged up, their faces said it all. Mikey/Loma is 50/50 imo

Funny you say Loma is a bum and then say you are a good boxer. He's WAY better than you. He did more as an amateur than you, has done more as a pro and has a TON more talent than you.

Funny when armchair fans call top fighters (or any championship caliber guy) a bum. Exposing you as a casual.
Lmao, great response to that idiot
