To me Mikey is irrelevant.

He had a chance to fight Gamboa. He passed. he had a chance he fight Bud. He again declined. He had a chance to fight Linares. Shockingly he refused that fight too.

I don't think Mikey wants the fight. He's full of crap. He doesn't do jack. He has ducked every single test his whole career.

I think it would be a good close fight but I feel loma would win a close fight. I don't think it will happen now. I got a feeling Beltran will be loma's next fight. Not excited about that fight.

As much as we **** on Broner. He’s a very big jr welterweight. If you even consider him a jr welterweight at all. Might be more accurate to call him a tweener that’s too big to comfortably make 140, but a small welterweight. And Mikey is a natural lightweight. And most importantly, Broner is better than Linares. So Mikey has done what you’re massaging Lomachencko’s balls for doing. And did it against a better fighter.

I've never seen ANYONE knocking Broner out in round 1 and 2? Or even round 11. Maidana, Poerter, Mikey ALL would TKO Linares.

And I find it hard to picture Linares knocking any of them down.

Promoters usually lose a lot of money when building up fighters. They don't start cashing in on fighters until they're headlining on major cards. I'd be surprised if Top Rank broke even on their investment into Mikey Garcia.

All the insiders love Mickey but also admit that Mickey is in it for the money. He called out Spence and he may simply call out Loma for the same reason, relevance and marketing. We'll see, time will tell. Arum is quoted as saying bring me the offer, I'll look at it.

He is also quoted saying it would be like making the Mayweather/#48 fight & we know who stopped that fight in 2009.
