This should tell/confirm to the world who the actual road block was with making FMJ VS. PAC. This also yells the world just how confident Arum is as it relates to Lomo beating M Garcia. If Arum felt Lomo could beat Garcia he'd make the fight in a heartbeat as a Lomo victory means that much more money for Arum. Yet Bob says he won't negotiate the biggest fight that can be made at 135 right now and for the foreseeable future. Yeah right.

mikey is a free agent so he can flex more to make things happen, that's if he really wants it. but since the arum excuse is already out there, we know that's what they're gonna roll with.

So Arum complains that he won't negotiate with Mikey because he wants things his way? Isn't that what Arum wants and expects in order for fighters not with Top Rank to fight his fighters. Arum talks about doing cross promotional with other promoters but he expects those fighters to fight his fighters on his terms and platform. Arum isn't going to send Crawford or Loma to HBO or Showitme and expects fighters like Spence, Thurman, Garcia to go to ESPN to make the fights. Arum will send over a low quality fighter to another network but not his stars. HBO was willing to pay more money for Loma/Linares but Arum wasn't having it and pretty much it was Linares who forced GB and HBO to make the fight. That was Linares biggest payday. Mikey has already said he could offer Loma more money and we know Arum has already started with Mikey will price himself out. Arum hasn't even had a conversation with Mikey, he says for Mikey to call him, but would he entertain Mikey making an offer to Loma which would be more than what Arum would pay?

I would rather not see these two fight anytime soon. I just think Loma is too small for Mikey, at least let the fight build more. The fan base for these two are just hardcore boxing fans, I doubt the average Joe even knows who they are.

Mickey has a country that knows who he is plus the U.S. fan base & lomo is top rank's most promoted fighter so people know who they are.

LOL, yeah that's why Mikey is fighting kickboxers and **** LMAO. He's easy work for Loma, much slower and less athletic than Linares. Garcia will not take the fight and it is nothing about Arum. He knows he looses, loma has better timing and is just too complete a fighter.

he's a free agent, he's free to accept any type of deals out there. if he really wants it then take the lesser share and whoop on loma.

Why would he take less when he can make more money by him offering Loma more than Arum? This has more to do with Arum wanting control and expecting anyone who wants to fight either Loma and Crawford to agree to his terms and fight on ESPN. Pretty much is the same thing with Hearn and AJ, they will turn down 50 million just because Hearn wants to run the show and have the fight in the UK.
