i think what you are talking about are rumors. rumors that garcia made something crazy like 3 million to fight lipinets. this was obvious nonsense cause the same exact rumors were said about spence vs peterson but he only made 1.2 milion in reality.

the only way garcia made that much is if haymon paid him behind the scenes. if htat is the case that has no effect on loma-garcia negotiations. you can't say "hey my promoter secretly pays me millions therefore i deserve millions more than i'm worth" that would be like double paying him since hes going to get the milions from haymon anyway(if true) it also proves that loma would not make more if he went to fight on showtime since he doesnt have that same deal with haymon(if its true)

he's a baby sized guy, in his 30's, who speaks no english. 1.5 million is close to the maximum you'll ever get off of PPV when your opponent makes a million and you are not a crossover draw.

there's nothing wrong with how lomachenko is promoted, he's got a very low ceiling. they'll get him to ppv once or twice, probably against garcia [maybe even against pacquiao,] and that's as far as he'll ever go.

just for some context, broner and garcia made less than lomachenko did when they fought each other. both guys made around a million bucks. total purse was less, split for lomachenko was better with him taking home an extra 500k.
