Comments Thread For: Promoter: Alvarez is Better Than Browne, Kovalev is in Tough

Yvon Michel, promoter for light heavyweight contender Eleider "Storm" Alvarez (23-0, 11 KOs), believe his boxer is a much tougher opponent than United States Olympian Marcus Browne. Browne (21-0, 16 KOs) had a deal in place to fight WBO light heavyweight champion Kovalev in an HBO televised bout.

the only reason why he's gonna be tough is because he's a southpaw, kovalev struggles with southpaw but he'll beat eleider alvarez

Kovalev taking a big s*** on POS (Piece of s***) Stevenson's head here. The man Chickens*** ducked for 4 years and Kovalev is like 'yeah let's go'. Says a lot about the man.

'Sir' Marcus Browne caught a case for 'Allegedly' slapping a hoe, speaking of hoes -- Kovalev got off the hook! 'Sir' Marcus Browne was going to hand him his third L! Luck is always on the side of cowards, chickens like Alvarez who ducked the 'Nail' Oleksandr Gvozdyk and wow! look he still gets a title shot for a lesser belt!

Just remember 'Superman' is the lineal champ, all these frauds are paper champs!

That caught me be surprise there. Alvarez? What happened to the Browne fight? Oh, that happened...

It's still gonna be a tough fight? But Alvarez is more of a boxer/jabber than Browne. So I'm not expecting the slugfest from Kovalev/Browne.

I'm thinking it goes like the Chilemba fight? Where Kovalev is trying to figure this guy out, in a tactical affair, a lengthy feeling out process. Then Kovalev catches him late.

A detail I just realized...the fight is in the NY/NJ area, where Main Events has had a lot of "influence"...some very controversial decisions that went their way. So I dont see Alvarez winning if it goes to the cards, unless he absolutely pummels Kovalev from start to finish, WITH a knockdown or two.
