Stevenson beat the piss out of Bellew first time around. But I don't think it's advisable for a guy in his 40's to jump up 20 pounds for a fight.

Last week, WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson discussed the idea of a rematch with Tony Bellew, who presently competes at heavyweight. Stevenson knocked out Bellew back in 2013 - in what was Stevenson's last mandatory world title defense. Following that defeat, Bellew moved up to cruiserweight and captured the WBC world title, and then moved up to heavyweight to pick up back to back stoppage wins over former champion David Haye.

Does this fight matter once Jack beats him this coming weekend? Maybe Adonis would accept the last payday and jump up in weight for the rematch vs Bellew knowing beating Bellew for second time will get him back in to contention.

I actually think this is a fight Belew can win. He has improved quite a bit since the first fight, and it would be some power Stevenson has not yet seen before. Can he take Belew's punches for the full fight? Can Belew now take his since he's bigger, likely has more punch resistance? I'd definitely watch the fight if it happens within the next year.
