    AJ vs Povetkin probably next

Eddie Hearn has posted today on his instagram, of a very successful meeting with Ryabinskiy, Povetkins man.

Whilst i would like to look at this as an insurance policy only for if negotiations with Haymon do not result on the Wilder fight being next, i have a strong feeling we can wave goodbye to wilder vs AJ next.

Very disappointing, and not a good image for AJ or Hearn if that's the case considering he has stated that negotiations were ongoing and proving positive.

Lets not forget AJ did an interview the other day where he stated that most of it was all OK and agreed with only small details to iron out.

    Thoughts?

I wouldn't call anyone a coward for taking on Povetkin. Especially after that brutal knockout of Price.

Even at his old age he is a force to be reckoned with and a risk for Joshua. It'll be his highest level opponent other than Wlad.

And folks are forgetting Povetkin is mandatory... and it takes two to make a deal.

If Wilder's folks are not ready to make the deal with AJ... is he supposed to bend over?

A promoter had a meeting with another promoter. Pretty worrying for a promoter to do. It's not like he has any other heavyweights, or was potentially discussing a temporary step aside payout.

I love this fight. This isn't some cakewalk fight for Joshua. Let them both juice to the gils!

It's not about Price's skill, which is terrible. It's about how brutal it was.

As i stated, thats what i would prefer is the case.. that being ther negotiation of a step-aside fee.

But Hearn has only Dave Allen and Dillian Whyte for HW's.

Oh how could i forget chisora....

Povetkin isnt fighting any of them other than AJ.
