Braekhus sells out arenas in Norway and got huge ratings in her HBO debut, much higher than any other boxer on HBO this year beside GGG. If Shields wants to fight the most marketable female boxer in the sport, she should come down to Welterweight to fight her as it doesn’t make sense for Cecilia to move up in weight if she makes 147 easy at her age.

She fighting for a pair of vacant titles in the division below, against a girl moving up a division. That's hardly commendable. Add to that the fact that women's boxing is almost non existent above welterweight.

From the little I've seen, it seems that the point-scoring styles of Braekhus and Taylor benefit a lot from the shorter duration of women's fights. If championship bouts were 12x3 then they'd have to show their mettle a bit more and fights like Braekhus's last one and Taylor's against the American girl could have even gone the other way

I don't know man shields is pretty beasty and Braekhus isn't a glass chin like Ali. The size difference in both analogies works for me though. Someone just mopped the floor with Sadam though so I can see why he came to mind
