People are in such a hurry to heap greatness on him, I don’t get it. I need to see a lot more from him. I will give him credit for beating an undefeated Rigondeaux, Russell Jr., & Walters. And credit for finishing a bigger Linares this weekend. But he also lost to Salido. And I’m sorry, all those fighters mentioned, I don’t consider them GREAT fighters in this era or Hall of Fame fighers, their OK, but not great. And those fighters were and are over rated too. I predicted Lomachenko would stop Linares because the guy got dropped and cut and stopped on cuts and TKO’ed quite a few times. He should have finished him earlier. But if Lomachenko beats Tank or Garcia convincingly, I will give him more credit but I don’t even consider those (2) fighters great YET either. He needs a career defining fight and Garcia isn’t it. It’s more like if he can go up in weight and defeat a Crawford for me to stamp greatness on him. Top Rank President Todd duBoef said Lomachenko weighed 138 on fight night while Linares weighed 152 after both were at 134.6 at the initial weigh in. So I believe Lomachenko can go up to junior welterweight & welterweight eventually.
You don't see how he's considered great? How about wins over 4 x top, if not elite fighters in 3 x weight division in 12 fights?!?! You gotta be a moron to go against every expert in boxing to dispute his brilliance.

Go Hype up Tank Davis who has beaten nothing but no names lol

I actually think it shows that he ain't no punk once he gets dropped and digs down and knocks the other guy out. It shows that he's not just this flashy guy with crazy footwork--it shows that he really can thrive past adversity.

Fighters avoid Loma whereas Floyd avoided fighters
And all of them are/were great fighters and deserve the hype. Loma deserves it for his in-ring performance.

The shot that dropped Loma was much more a product of great timing (walking a guy into a punch). Mikey’s mind is faster, his eyes are sharper, and his hands are just as fast as Linares.

Prograis has a title and while he has power, Loma would outclass him. Crawford will never fight at 140 again and Garcia is not ready to fight Loma.

That said, I think Loma should take a little time to grow into 140 as that's where the punching power becomes real.

I’ve never heard of any lightweight not wanting Loma. It’s gonna make Arum’s job harder now because the guys who want him will want him even more.

Only “morons” use pointless stats. Who did he actually beat that anyone would consider a “great” fighter in those 3 weight divisions? For the 1st division featherweight title, he beat Jose Ramirez. Is he great? In the 2nd one, he beat, Roman Martinez for the super featherweight title. Is he great? For the 3rd one, he beat Linares for the Super Lightweight division title? Is he great? I’m talking about great with respect to HOF or P4P? I’m sorry; was Linares on the pound for pound list before the fight, anywhere near it. Every fighter he has fought is over rated and not a great fighter. He hasn’t fought 1 great fighter yet. Maybe Garcia is up there, he is over rated too. And who the hell has Mikey Garcia fought that is considered a great fighter? Nobody. You just got schooled moron. Your only a GOAT on here because of how many posts, but you don’t know s...about boxing and it shows. All of these so called experts are “thirsty” to push a fighter and tag him great. Look at ****s record and tell me 1 fighter he has fought that will be in the HOF, just one. I don’t give a damn about 3 titles in weight divisions, that’s so over puffed it’s nonsense. I look at their records and opposition and it’s suspect. And only 12 fights, GTFOH, that’s for MORONS like you and your entire family. Wannabe boxing fan-LOL!!!

I agree but Mikey is by no means 'slow' and is a better counter puncher that Linares even. Close fight IMO
