But Crawford would take this guy apart he shows no basic fundamentals except walking straight ahead, going straight backwards, throwing some good punches, hard punches, but leaving himself open vs. A guy who could not punch hard but does not move his head... the elite will pick the guy apart... believe me he is not the best kept secret another division as the biased ESPN, especially Testatore, he had Loma winning the fight before he got into the into the ring...

I understand that you are judging him based on what you saw last night. And to be honest I was a little shocked at his performance. He is a lot better than what he showed. As a matter of fact he has sparred with Bud and has done very well in case you didn't know...there is actually a short video of it.
As for why he barely boxed last night is beyond me. He seemed focused on getting the KO and just decided to walk the guy down. I really was a little disappointed. But just so you know what I mean...look at some of his other fights. The guy has skills just decided not to show it last night..

Feed him to Spence if he's truly unafraid.

He doesn't have any defense to compete with the top guys. Alejandro was landing some good shots on him. He need a few more fights under his belt.

With the hellacious body shots those guys throw, they'd both be pIssing blood after such an encounter.

147- the division that keeps on giving.

He needs to show a ton more than he did, but there will be an opportunity for him to get a big name. He needs to keep wining while the big four of this division (already counting Crawford) decide who they want or don't want. But they will take other fights.

Is this a "careful what you wish for" kind of thing?

I get what you are saying young man and the question is, how did he prepare in training and what his corner was telling him ?? This was to be his coming out night and I thought it was an ordinary performance but let's see what happens to him going forward but he just can't jump into the elite of the division...1 last comment is sparring is what it means, sparring..

I actually like this Adames here more than the one I see now. I believe this fight was in the amateurs but here he is showing a lot better movement and defense as well as more accurate punching and control. I'm not sure what happened in the past couple of years.

He's not quite ready yet. Garcia too technical for him, Porter will bully him, Bud will out box him and Spence will kill him. enuff said
