Even prime Roy Jones Jr got flash knocked down...

Just saying...And Roy was the original Matrix (Hell he was even in the damn movie)... And Floyd got knocked down by Judah... it happens to even the best... Loma will learn and will not repeat the same mistake, especially against bigger punchers like Garcia or Manny.

The problem with Lomachenko getting dropped is he was getting tagged with some good shots last night. The KD was a result of the good work Linares was doing. Not too many boxers was landing punches on Roy in his prime or Mayweather. And an off balanced shot where his gloves touched the canvas is not even worth mentioning.

The impressive thing that Lomachenko did was he got up, regrouped, and ended the fight. You can't ask for more than that.

Jones got knocked down by a long-time sparring parter. Definite * on that

Also, look at the feet. Del Valle's right foot is on the right side of his foot preventing Jones movement. Not a literal tangle, but definitely restrictive. So yea, double *.

          WATCH THE FEET

Yea, Floyd got knocked down by his own sparring partner (lol) and Zab had the fastest hands in the business.

You do realize sparring partners have a big edge right? They've seen your bag of tricks, actually your deepest bag of tricks as guys do things in sparring they rarely do in fights (ask Spence).

Wait, you don't believe me? Let the man tell you himself! All queue'd up just for you sweetheart!

Yeah, I know that but it cuts both ways... De Valle knew Roy well from sparring but Roy knew De Valle well so it's not like he wasn't prepared... Roy was more dominant than Loma in the fight he got knocked down in though...You could say the knockdown on Loma was more legitimate (no tangled feet) but it was still a flash knockdown and Loma got immediately up like Roy with no visible signs of being shook up... like Roy he was just pissed he got caught...

I'm not saying Loma is on Roy's level either... Loma is closer to Floyd's level but the point is that a top fighter in his prime in all three cases got knocked down... that they weren't invincible super heroes.

This happens to great fighters who are not cherry picking fraud who fought like a coward in the ring.

That's actually not true. Queue'd here:

Floyd steps towards Zab and his foot ends up behind Zabs which should have tripped Zab not Floyd. Throwing a right hand to the body low like that in the middle of the ring is very counterable. Floyd ended up changing how he throws that punch by staying more upright in later fights.

I got caught like that sparring against a former 135/140 Am's star from the 80's (he didn't make it in the pro's: drugs, crime, etc). Same exact punch but my dude shuffled back and smashed me with a right hand. He told me to make sure my position was in check, like have the guy closer to the ropes to prevent escape/counters.

I never saw the video of that angle, I only saw a screenshot where Judah's foot was on Floyd's.
