      The narrative has already begun:

      April 16, 2018:

In boxing, as in life, if something sounds too good to be true it probably is -- and that's why the prospect of seeing an undisputed heavyweight world championship fight between three-belt titlist Anthony Joshua and one-belt man Deontay Wilder next is so unlikely.

The main reason is that, at least when it comes to actions instead of words, it seems like the Joshua camp is not actually serious about pursuing one of the biggest fights in the sport and easily the biggest fight in the heavyweight division in many years...

If Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs) wants the fight with Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) next, it sure doesn't seem that way, regardless of what he says. It's clear in the offer Joshua's promoter, Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn, recently made to the Wilder camp: a flat fee of $12.5 million, take it or leave it, for Wilder's participation in the fight.

Of course, $12.5 million large is giant money for most people, but for a fight of this magnitude, it is not a serious offer. If Wilder's team -- managers Al Haymon, Shelly Finkel and Jay Deas and promoter Lou DiBella -- accepted the deal, they would be committing malpractice on behalf of their client.

      http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/story/_...ean-fight-next

" accepted the deal, they would be committing malpractice on behalf of their client. "

They have ALREADY committed malpractice for THEIR client bc hes barely made it out of 2 Million in FOURTY fights .

They further will continue to committ malpractice IF they advise Wilder to continue onward with 1.5 Million dollar paydays .

Malpractice however would be Hearn accepting 50 Million in a 24 hr deadline with no details he REQUESTED .

Joshua has made more in ONE fight practically then Wilders entire career ......think about that . SMH

Sorry but you're as dumb as can be if you cant see 12.5 is 30 PLUS million for Wilder .

You must not think Wilder can win just like the majority of his fanbase ?

Secondly you guys arent smart enough to actually calculate that Wilder is cheating HIMSELF ....no offence ...

P.S You dont relentlessly CHASE anybody cancelling meetings !

Meaningless press release. Getting sick of this bloated hype already. As useless as Fury's taunts. Fight Wilder. That would mean something.

If AJ signs a contract, it's all good! I'm just reminding you of what happens if he does NOT sign a contract!

It's all a matter of who you trust! Finkel has been in the business going way, way back! You're boy Hearn is suspect! Regardless of what you feel, the narrative has been changing, and if Joshua doesn't sign, he's TRASH!

Can you actually pin point me to something that suggest Eddie Hearn is of a suspect or negative character?

I'd love to hear any story or evidence you have of him paying off an official or short changing his fighters or leaving them destitute?

Has he ever paid one of his fighters not to fight and relinquish his belt on his highest note of his career? Then fed him to a superior fighter on a card that didnt even draw 400k viewers?

Cos if he hasnt... i can name someone who has.. and they're very closely linked to shelly finkel in this little world we called boxing.

Deontay MIGHT be the better fighter but Anthony has the better team around him. Wilder should be making a lot more than he is.

This is a boxing contract, not an NBA or EPL contract, that money is totally predicated upon him winning, it's not like he will be on salary.

Also, at no point has AJ indicated he would sign this deal.

I think AJ is worth more to Matchroom, he should be seeking $200 million, $50 million a fight plus upside, this contract downsizes his value unless he works in a provision that gives him over half of all PPV gates.

Don't know much about Hearn, because he wasn't anybody until yesterday! I'm watching, and i'm learning! Right now, i'm sensing a lot of a lot feminine energy coming from Team Joshua! I don't know if it's from the fighter or the promoter! I know Barry said that he would advise Joshua to wait! I don't know what or who in AJ's head. Like Dan Rafael said, "if we're judging by actions, Team Joshua doesn't want this fight!"
