Is Lomachenko as great as Floyd/Pac when they won their 3rd weight class?

Rigo was top 10 at best but he was inactive and the quality of opponents were kinda weak after donaire. But in no way is the rigondeaux win more impressive than wins over corrales, castillo and genero hernadez given the circumstances.

Look at the opposition castillo and carrales faced in comparison to linares. It's not even close, and linares doesn't even have a better career than genero hernandez.

Best I could find. Rigo ranked 4th in 2017.

Walters not on the list though.

Pretty the Ring ranked him in the top 10 after he beat Donaire

The best i could find for Rigo was #7 on the ring magazine before and is # 10 now after the fight. He was #10 on espn's p4p list before he fought loma too.

By the time loma fought walters, walters was not on anyone's p4p list. Im pretty sure he was never ranked though.

Anyway, the rigo and walter wins are not better than the wins over corrales, castillo or hernandez. Just look at all of their careers and compare the circumstances involving each fight.

        I'd say so.

        They're all very comparable.

Floyd Mayweather has the best resume I've ever seen on a fighter. Lomachenko is headed in the right direction but not anywhere close to Floyd. Also their styles are completely different. One isn't better than the other, its just different.

name the prime greats he beat. for example leonard has: benitez, hearns, duran, and hagler so thats 4 wins better than floyd but maybe you are just looking at names. floyd has big names but they were well well past their best.

I think he is as good or better than they are. He turned pro at a late age and he did what he did in so few fights. He is also the best amateur boxer in history.

All 3 have pretty solid resumes at the same point impressive wins by all 3 of them tbh

Shame loma isnt younger and could grow in to a welter its gonna be difficult for him to match their careers stuck at 135
