Obviously, Hughie needs to step back a bit and take a look at the HW landscape currently. And his liabilities. He isn't exceptionally accurate with his punches, his defense isn't great, and he has a habit of keeping his mouth open during the fight. All three would spell doom vs Joshua, Povetkin, Wilder, Ortiz. There are some top tier HWs he could possibly beat though.... Miller, Duhaupas, Breazeale, Parker rematch, etc. But at 23, there's obviously a little ways to go before he takes on elites. If he just takes it a small step at a time, keeps improving, he'll eventually get a title within the next few years. Just not right now.

well that was the only belt he could go after... Fury might be under Hennessy but their all in bed with Warren and his WBO trinkets are currently on wait for Daniel Dubois.

Dubois will take the meaningless baubles of the WBO to gain a high ranking, and hughie will go the EBU route to secure validation from other ranking orgs.

I'd forgotten about Dubois, good point. Hearn will do everything to avoid that one, I've said for a long time that I think Dubois might be AJ's first loss when he's ready, development needed first.

Don't hold much hope for Fury at the moment, when the fights are more technical he struggles to get the power shots off, but I guess he is only 23, plenty of time.
