Man is a 3 division champion in 12 fights, took on the best man in the division in his last division move, game, set, match.
I think Loma will get the Floyd type of hate for years to come...
No mater how much Floyd dominated, there will be 50 threads after the fight people hating and bringing some nonsense....pathetic. They still bring his ass up any chance...
But as usual, lots of confused morons jumping on Loma's nuts making his fans look bad.....same old ****.
I'll just be tuning in to watch some
==========
On another note, yes Loma has proven that he is the truth, if he can beat a man like Mikey then it really becomes a case of waiting till he ages or bites off more then he can chew by moving further up to 140lb which I think is just too big for him.
But boxing is in a good place, so much talent out there.
You got Loma, Spence, TC, Usyk, AJ...
Now we just gotta get them all to fight.
GG imo is the only truly tested fighter at the elite level in my top 5.
Loma just passed the chin test. In order to be special you have to beat someone special. Bud, Garcia, Loma, Canelo and GG haven't yet. Canelo and GG took that chance. We haven't gotten an answer yet.

Loma lost, and he never gained revenge. For me he has to beat a guy like Garcia to be a part of the conversation. And beating a good Linares isn't good enough. Garcia wouldve beat the **** out of Linares. I like Linares and think that it's a good win for Loma, but who Linares beaten that pushes Loma over Bud?
the better opposition for the time being.

I don't think any one of the guys Loma has beaten has a better win than even Salido. Walters beating a smallish Donaire ranks high, but he was bigger than Donaire and Rigo had already beaten Donaire.
We could play the "who did he beat?" game all day when dissecting resumes...it's just my opinion loma has beaten the better guys. Crawford has beaten a lot of solid guys, but for having over 30 fights and multiple titles, his resume is pretty thin.

You haven't owned up to his loss to Salido. And that's why your argument to rank Loma pfp best falls when talking to a guy like me. You "absolutely don't make much of the Salido loss". Really, lmao. He lost doe, check the records. Bud hasn't lost, Canelo lost to Floyd, Garcia and GG haven't lost. But you have Loma ranked higher than them because Loma chose to fight tough comp from the start, lmao.
Consider that.

Quality of opposition is a measuring stick to bolster an argument, because it essentially proves how capable a fighter is competing at a high level. You're stuck on something that happened years ago and for the purpose of your argument, treat it like it happened yesterday. This is why I generally avoid p4p arguments. Aside from p4p being a gimmick not really worth arguing about...it usually devolves into some type of career accomplishment award. I have no problem with Crawford being #1 btw, I just found it ridiculous how you said loma has to beat someone much better than anyone Crawford has ever beaten to "even be considered".

Eloquently put. And the exact reason I avoid P4P discussions myself (and when I do always preface with 'P4P is BS, but...'). It wouldn't matter at all except dudes go getting excited insisting that theirs is the only way to see ****.
