A pretty good stoppage because he was still bent over after he arose so I can't contest it but let's give him another chance to fight was even on the scorecards...

Exactly, I took a front roundhouse to the liver a few years back, took me 5-7 min to just be able to get back up lol.... felt like a gunshot (been shot twice was on my 2nd tour in Afghanistan).

Probably won't get done this year but hopefully by around this time next year. I think Lomachenko might go after Tank Davis but he also has a deveststing straight right hand. He might be a little bit more predictable than Linares but if it lands he can also put Lomachenko down. Maybe down for good.

I could see why Mikey the cherry picker would want Loma being he is even bigger then linares
Mikey is actually smaller than Linares in terms of height and reach, and he doesn't have Linares speed either. Plus Mikey has never shined against slick technical boxers, so I doubt Mikey would see Loma as an easy touch.

Mikey's actually an inch shorter than Lomachenko, and while he might have a stockier frame than Loma, he still looked a bit soft in the body at 140 lately and I suspect 135 is Mikey's optimum weight.

I think it would be a good fight, but I suspect Loma takes it just on activity. Mikey wouldn't get the same connect percentage as Linares, but then again, it only takes one.....

                See for yourself:

No fighter says they were hurt, especially right after the fight. It's a macho sport. And there isn't a universal reaction to getting hit in the body. Linares fought a great fight, even if he tried to carry on, loma would have been all over him

Funny how any time there's a stoppage like this, 'fans' think they just have to line up to trash the fighter. Guyz... it's a battle. And I doubt any of youse would have the guts to fight Loma, or Linares for that matter. Now, Linares does have too much of a warrior mindset, if he wanted to continue, but that's what fans want... or at least what I thought they wanted. I look forward to seeing both fighters continue on with their careers.

Tank davis be a great match up!
I doubt floyd throws tank to loma... that would mean bob/floyd working together! Lets hope the politics dont delay this too long.
