It was a close fight between two quality fighters and not the easiest fight to score. I had loma ahead but it wasnt by much.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I'm not so sure. He looks a better lightweight, but 126-130 I'm not convinced. That featherweight era was absolutely stacked, and had 4 ATG's competing at the same time.

loma is 30 years old, his prime is NOW as a pro fighter. People need to keep that in mind as they compare him to other eras and other fighters.

He is a great fighter and highly skilled. The fans that like to over rate him keep focusing on his only having 12 fights and are acting like he is a 20 year old with another 15 years left to go.

i still have lomachenko p4p number 1 but hopefully this cools down some of the hype regarding him. he seems to win every mythical match up but lets face it hes nowhere near as proven as mayweather or morales or anyone else hes favoured to beat. He's a hell of a fighter but hes not superman. And if he keeps moving up and up hes going to run into trouble.

saying that its still a top win and ultimately he got the job done. a resume of walters, rigondeaux, linares and russell is just ridiculous after 12 fights

however i stick by what i said prior to tonight, mikey garcia beats him
He needs to get better to face Mickey, fights a pair of Beltrans in 2018 and take mickey in early 2019, ie grow more into 135 and get a bit more of experience against guys who will be a threat because of their size.

Or needs to go back to 130 and take care of Berchelt and Davis.

Linares is great to watch and he took a lot of chances last night.

                He’s a top fighter.

Morales at 30 had already had over 50 pro fights. He went through his trilogy with barrera and had his win over Manny Pacquaio and was now getting into his losses to Pac and Raheem and was declining. Then he surprised us another 5 years later when we thought he was completely shot with competitive fights vs Maidana and Danny Garcia up at 140.

Their resumes are not even close. Who would win head on? Loma has a good chance to beat Morales after his reflexes declined. Does Loma beat the Morales that outboxed Manny Pacquaio? I dont think so.

Arent you the same guy who is backing Connor Benn and saying that established guys are ducking a 4-0 prospect?

Cant see how Linares was up at the time of the stoppage, Lomachenko did the better work in nearly every round.
I think the first round could have gone either way and the knockdown round and the round that followed were Linares rounds.
