Not exactly it was originally called Ukraine cause it was the corner of Russia, then it was part of the Soviet Union which is Russian based and most the country is ethnic Russians who speak Russian(like Loma). Yes it does have a different government and it’s own knock off the Russian language but the culture not so much.

Only eastern ukraine has the same culture. Western ukranians are true ethnic ukranians and the east part mainly russians who changed their names. Western Ukraine culture is very different from ethnic russians.

Some people are just waiting to bust a nut if/when a top fighter loses. Must be a very frustrating existence. I enjoyed the hell out of that fight though, especially the response to adversity.
