My thoughts on Mayweather and PEDs

First of all, let me just say that I'm a Mayweather fan. He's actually the one who got me to follow boxing and transformed me from a casual to a hardcore fan. So I may be partial.

But yes, I did have my su****ions about him and PEDs. These doubts were triggered when I noticed changes to his jawline and muscle definition when he fought Marquez.

However, I also do believe that he was clean for the most part of his career and that he was clean when the Pacquiao talks started. However, everybody in the industry knew what was going on with Pacquiao. He polluted the division and was a difficult problem to deal with.

First, Mayweather was the one who tried to implement Olympic style testing. He's actually one of the people responsible for what we have today. I don't think that would be logical for someone who's dirty to bring more attention to themselves.

But at some point, he had to realize that even with testing, Pacquiao would still be able to get away with it with the people backing him. So he and others were forced to make a decision. And they took the right one in my opinion. There was no way to catch Pacquiao and facing him clean was not only ******, but dangerous for their safety, record, legacy and profits. So they did what they had to do. In my opinion, there is no shame in cheating against a cheater.

What are your thoughts on the situation. Did you think Pacquiao was clean? And what is the proper course of action if a dirty and protected fighter is sitting on top of the division?

No one cares about individual thoughts on atheists and PED use. You have 2 types, those who want to believe, and those who don't.

We would love to think that "science" has taken us soooo far that a 40 year old man can do the same things (without chemical help) as a 20 or even 30 year old man, and it's just not true. It's a lie, bull****, and for the ignorant to believe.

The rates that professional athletes train already, is enough to break anyone's body down, let alone doing to on a repeated basis. Oddly enough, all of the same vitamins and minerals existed from the beginning, they just weren't bottled, all of the same animals (but MUCH cleaner).

If you have a favorite fighter, the best thing to do is assume that they are using, because in today's world with so much at stake, either they are using PEDs or sold their soul (not kidding). That's just the way it is.
