Yeah. He has narrow shoulders. It is like some guys have t-rex arms, Loma has t-rex clavicles.

... I was "afraid" for Loma in this fight... and my "fears" materialized eventually...

Once again, I'm reminded that we have to slow down when praising these guys.

Great fighter, but his dad was right. They have to be smart with moving up in weight.

        He's still a beast though.

Loma has probably reached his limit at 135. A move to 140 should only be considered against a handpicked opponent.
Good fight last night. A rematch wouldn't shock me.

I agree with Loma needing to stick at 135! I also wouldn’t mind a rematch. Seemed like a high speed game of chess, was good for the eyes.

I don't think he should move up to 140. He just isn't big enough.
Not many boxers will have the speed, reach and athleticism of Linares. Russell with shorter arms only managed a 21% connect rate. Reduce any of the speed/reach/athleticism and that connect percentage goes down (Mikey all three are lower).

Agree he looks pretty small at 135 though, although maybe Linares was just bigger than average, don't know.

Very impressed with Loma. The guy is the real deal! Linares outweigh him by amost 15 pounds and that's a big deal for elite fighters. Unify all the belts first before moving up. A move to 140 will be too soon.

Compubox was way off in numbers. I watched the first couple rounds in VLC Slow Motion. Neither guy landed double digit numbers in either round. Most punches were blocked with Gloves or Elbows.

They are both so quick with their hands and reaction that it looks like punches are landing when they are actually missing their mark.

Compubox apparently counts glove punches atleast at espn.
