    Pac vs Lomachenko at 140

I think Pac could do some serious damage to Lomachenko. Looks to me like Lomo has reached his final weight. He goes up any more and he's gonna be in serious trouble against someone who's talented and can crack. I don't care how shot Pac may be, he's still got something left in the tank and he's been fighting WAY bigger dudes than Lomachenko. Bob may want to make the fight though cause there is not much to lose for Loma. If he loses, he gets a pass from the mainstream for jumping up again and testing himself ag aisnt a legend and if he wins he gets tons of praise for the same reasons. I think it could sell pretty well also.

Loma went straight to the peak of 135. If he takes it slow, he can adjust to a higher weight division.

I'm not so sure man. Imagine someone as big as Easter in there lol. Dudes are killing themselves to make weights, they're all fighting a weight class lower than they probably should be. We've seen Garcia go to 140 and be strong and look just as big as the guys that were fighting there already. Pac may not be big compared to the guys he's fought for years but he's bigger than Lomachenko and definitely has way more power. He could get schooled but he's not completly shot yet I don't think. We will know for sure if he loses to Lucas though.

You are taking too much away from Linares there. Dude is a legit champ and definitely did his homework. He looked like he figured a lot of Loma's tricks in the middle rounds and probably trained for those situations for months. Regardless, end of the day, he was all cut up and too disheartened to continue probably so even if you figure out the science, it will still hit you like a truck apparently. I doubt Pac is putting even half of that much work in training trying to defeat Loma, considering his age. We will soon find out what new challenges Loma goes up against though. The hype train continues, choo choo. I still think he should go slower and stick to 135 for a year before thinking about moving up.

It's not a fair fight. This fight should only be made at 135lbs only.

That's what is interesting, because if Linares somehow "figured" Lomachenko enough to e competetive then lets see how Pac could figure out Lomachenko, whose experience on figuring out fighters much much much much more of higher level than Linares.

Linares probably worked hard in the gym for months and did his homework right. Is Pac willing to put that much work and dedication in training at his old age to defeat a youngster? That remains to be seen.

despite his age , at 140 Pacman wins. too much power, and the weight advantage would be insane. Pac isn't what he used to be but he's still a major threat

Maybe but he's got to take it slow from here on out. If he goes to 140, he needs to wait a while and get used to 135 first. I think he should fight Beltran next and pick up that other belt because, why not?

I've said all along that I think Loma needs to stay at 135 and that 140 will be his undoing. With that being said, if you do go to 140 at some point this is the fight to go for. Pac is small, old and imo completely shot. Unfortunately for Loma, I don't think that big payday is ever going to get to him, cuz even old Matthysse is going to finish Pac man once and for all imo
