Linares looked like he came back from a war at the end of the fight whereas Loma was sharp and polished. Loma destroys his opponents both physically and mentally but you wouldn't know much about the sweet science.

I missed the fking thing because I didn't expect it to be on so early but I'm going to have to watch it because I see people saying ^that a lot. I really didn't expect Jorge to take more than a couple early rounds, at best, then get dominated. If a faded Linares held his own, 135 might be a tough one for Loma.

faded linares wtf are you talking about? you want to see faded look at 39 year old mosley, 36 year old recently knocked out pac, one win in 3 years hoya, etc...whose resume is that???

linares was 32 years old and on the best run of his career and hadn't lost in 6 years. how is that faded? that sounds competely prime to me.

Everyone can be dropped and just about everyone gets dropped at some point. I think Loma's reads to me the same way Mikey's did in that they don't have iron chins, but they are solid enough to recover quickly and they aren't going to be having problems like Khan, Price, etc.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of people who are waiting with baited breath for the guy to slip up in any way you we're going to hear about this forever.
This. Anyone who gets up from the knock down should be given credit about their recovery.

It was a great fight it thought Lianres looked a little sluggish but it looked like Linares body language hes was going to fold and he drops Loma in the 6th a round Loma was winning. Loma came back great but Linares came back in the 9th and then got stopped in the 10th.

1st round close, 6th round and 9th round is all i gave Linares.

I was there live. Loma was definitely getting the better of Jorge and outlanding him. I would say Loma most certainly won 6 to 7 rounds.

Only way to break the sweet science is to punch in the ****. Next few opponents should stick to that plan maybe.
