I don't know if beating Linares puts Loma in the HOF, but I do think if Loma beats Linares and Mikey Garcia @ 135, he's in the HOF! I hope we get Garcia vs. Loma this year, and Spence vs. Crawford this year! I think both of those fights are better than Canelo vs. GGG II, and Wilder vs. Joshua!
I've been thinking it over, but I'm starting to believe that boxing is experiencing sort of a renaissance in terms of visibility.
I watched Haney last night, today I get to watch Loma v. Linares, then see Ali do his thing.
Next week we have some great ones on tap too.
Fans have been complaining but, 2017 was awesome and this year has kept right with that trend.
Competition is a beautiful thing. Just think, when Mathcroom adds their dates (maybe UFC too), we might have a good scrap every week lol the calendar is already pretty full now.Comment

Had I been a ****** I would have referred to you as Allah my friend.
And you'll get stoned to death for it in a ****** country.
Canelo is similar to James Toney.
Wow.. high praise for the Ginger. but I guess its how they're both slicker than oil in the pocket.
GGG is a hunter. He’s an animal. People won’t like to hear this but animals need to kill sometimes. Getting a ko in boxing for a ko artist is a feeding for them
Is the WBC gonna investigate Breadman now too or what.. GGG wants to catch a body as bad as Wilder.Comment

No doubt about that. Isn't it interesting that we have this caliber of fights in 2018 on tap? Good times.

I agree with him that Golovkin won the first round against Canelo (I think he won the fight) and I understand why he chose Vanes. But he deserved some of the criticism for choosing Vanes. He could have chosen another "safe" fight that was more competitive. I also think he's giving him a pass on the late punch but I agree Roy Jones is still holding on to his DQ and made a big deal about it.
I was actually being sarcastic because Breadman gets criticism when shows love for other fighters but his most glowing admiration is for Golovkin more than any other current fighter.
same case with derevy, his manager might drag negotiation for bigger purse so w/eComment

The mailbags are always a fun read. I particularly enjoyed the topic on Golovkin "needing" a fight like the one from May 5th. It made complete sense and adds another wrinkle into Golovkin's career insight. Good stuff Bread!Comment
