A pro sparring benefit will be held for the family of late boxer, trainer and gym owner Kenny Weldon on May 12 from 11 am to 5 pm at the Fighter Nation Boxing Gym, 13305 Woodforest Blvd in Houston. Weldon died on April 15 at age 72 after a long battle with Parkinson's. He is survived by his wife Faye, three children and 10 grandchildren.
