Taylor's plan?

Those weren't Steward's instructions in the corner during the fight. He specifically said Taylor should stay off the ropes and in the center of the ring.

The reason he was on the ropes, is because he couldn't escape Wright in the center of the ring and was just being walked down with the jab.

Of course you're going to claim Taylor won the rounds decisively....because you're a Taylor nuthugger first and foremost. But even to be fair, you were simply impressed by Taylor's size in the ring, and his ability to land loud punches on Wright's gloves.

When you see someone throw a combination on gloves, you score the rounds 10-8. That's understandable.

I, as well as others have noticed you really don't know boxing from your ass......and that's just the truth.

That was his game plan before the fight, he clearly said it before the fight that he will make wright come to him, go read some articles or watch some Taylor interviews before making an ass out of yourself like you always do. His game plan just didn't work, that is why Manny was telling him to stay of the ropes in the later rounds. Anyway Taylor won the fight, if he had Burns in his corner he would've done better, Manny didn't help Taylor.

You should be the last person on this site to call someone a nut-hugger, because you ass-munch all of your favorite fighters. Also your knowledge is pure **** and that's the truth.

Taylor stayed in the corner not because he was threatened by Wright in any way. Gunstar is an idiot, but the reason Taylor stayed in his corner is the exact reason he said he did: He thought nothing of Wright's power and was looking to counter, but could not.

Someone should let Taylor know that he's not James Toney and he should stay off the ropes. Taylor's defense is terrible. He's a great puncher though. I hope Steward can work on his defensive skills because his previous coach obviously didn't.

That was Taylor's game plan, Toney has won most of his fights in his career on the ropes, so what you saying doesn't make any sense.

Yes Winky did better when Taylor was on the ropes, but Taylor hurt Winky more in that fight. It was a close fight for anyone to ***** about, especially the challenger.

Taylor has more right to ***** about the draw, not Winky. He lost the fight and he should shut the **** up, he's being a little *****.

Wright was winning going into the last round, not Taylor. No way did Taylor win 7 rounds.

I just watched the fight last night and had the sound down like someone recommended to me so I could watch the action without hearing any bias. I thought Winky won it. Many of the flurries Taylor threw looked impressive but I watched closely and the majority of the punches Taylor threw were blocked by Winky. Not to say Taylor didn't have some moments but I thought Winky had more good moments.

Winky just fought 12 rounds with one of the best fighters in the world, today, after he went 2 fights with one of the greatest fighters ever. He got a draw on what should have been ruled a draw. He has NO reason to ***** or complain. He gained respect from the fans!

Why can’t boxers just take a step back and realize the big picture? It’s a ****ing disgrace! Just grow the hell up already!

The man got robbed he has every right to be pissed Taylor got a draw because he's the person people want to see. He didn't beat Winky in any statistical category not one all he did was back up the whole fight if your the champ then what the hell are you running? Answer that.

Man,you need to watch more closely!Taylor broke through that defense more than your giving him credit for.Take a look at some of those bodyshots.And your opinion isn't automatically the right one.Taylor fans will say that Taylor won,Winky fans will say that Winky won.Both sides are biased!
