As is sports its not really direct competition. Id guess theyre end game is to be the best at sports streaming so that one of the big dogs buy them out

Well... He knows the cats out the bag because he's responded to people on twitter calling him out for this being his big announcement . Hearn still seems to inclinating there's other things or more complex variables to this announcement that make it bigger than what people are currently thinking.

hey man you don't have to convince me on streaming however its important to place your bet on the right business. Do you think this Dazn can come to the u.s. and compete with the likes of Netflix and amazon. What I mean to say is this is only as good a investment as Dazn makes it. at least when it comes to breaching the usa market

Dazn sound like they've done well outside of the US. So thats a good sign to start with. But idk if Netflix & Amazon are direct competitors since Dazn is a streaming sports network & I don't believe there are any major players in this market in the US yet.

How they attack the US will be key to their success or failure I imagine. How soon they get direct competition? How hurtful the competition with non-direct streaming competitors can hold them back?

There's more questions then answers right now, but fortune favors the bold as they say & til someone else makes some ESPN of streaming type network Dazn's odds are looking alright as long as they play their cards well.
