The only one you could make a case for ggg having ducked is ward...but I don't think ward's side was very serious about making the fight either. There were times where both ward and ggg turned down the fight for various reasons. Ggg turned down an actual offer cuz he was signed to fight Lemieux and later wanted a cw. Ward didn't even want to entertain a possible fight when ggg agreed cuz he had injury/promoter issues. One thing is certain tho...neither side pursued the fight at all after those incidences, which shows how serious they really were about making it happen.

Yep, amd Floyd pussied out. Meanwhile, Clenelo was MW champ which means he defends title UP TO 160.

          heres some simple logic

golovkin pursued actual fights at 168 and he and his people have mentioned 168 at least 100 times throughout the last few years....didnt he actually put his name on paper for a contract with chavez? im not sure but i remember hearing he did....doesnt matter anyway...he has tried to make fights there against 168lbers

now how many times you seen or heard floyd try to make 160lb fights?

in fact floyd said the complete opposite "everyone has limits...i know mine...thats too far for me"

          so heres what we have

floyd at 160=complete fantasy and unrealistic
lil g=168 pursued and talked about favorably many times.....

just to clear that up for you idiots still holding on tightly and dearly to wards "160" claim.....ward can say hell fight terrence crawford next week at 160 and it means jack **** if crawford says he cant and wont ever go up that high
GGG offered to come down to 154 while Floyd was Jr MW champ. Floyd said he was too big. Only an inch taller and an average shed MW, yet Floyd didn't think he was too big for JMM, Hatton, PAC who were smaller in comparison that he was to GGG. Martinez offered to come all the way down to 150 and accept 20% and Floyd pussied out of that too.

                Simple.

                Mayweather does record breaking PPVs.

OTOH, Bumlovkin does 97K PPVs on a good day.

                1 + 1 = 2

                You're welcome...

For the same reason he dragged up welterweight Kell Brook to 160...

Ward, Lara, and Charlo are undeniable. I find it very upsetting how they are ducking Charlo right now.

Any time you hear Abel talk about Charlo, it makes Charlo sound like the second-coming of Floyd because Abel is very scared of Charlo.
