Im much more of a Nelo fan then GGG BUT come on bro!
Boxing sucks!!!! No other sport would allow this. No other fans either!
1) he is not refusing a drug teat
2) who cares ?
why would he lift his little finger for Team Bullshht..... who have at times sounded completely disinterested in the rematch..... why should he do anything, when that fight may not even happen?
Canelo should do 365 testing, for his fans..... but Team Bullshht will not/cannot tell him what to do
if they want Canelo to test, they can simply agree to fight him.... problem solved
why make excuses for Team Bullshht, when they could simply accept the exact same fight conditions they were offered last time?
the question that I asked was this.....
if they want Canelo to test, they can simply agree to fight him..... so, if they know that, and they still refuse to sign the contract, because Canelo is not enrolled in testing..... what conclusion will you draw?
so again, the situation is..... they can enroll Canelo in VADA anytime they want, by simply agreeing to the same terms they accepted last time..... problem solved..... AND THEY ARE WELL-AWARE OF THAT FACT..... so, if they do not, who will you blame?
key-point..... they are well-aware that they can enroll Canelo in VADA whenever they want, by simply accepting the same conditions they accepted last timeLast edited by aboutfkntime; 05-10-2018, 07:37 PM.

Haven't been following, really busy work week. Doing a quick read, I don't see anything unusual. Testing is very expensive and no one wants to bleed money. That's why most fighters don't do it until a fight is signed and test is required.
That said, Canelo is under the spotlight of su****ion and it's plain ****** for him not to. I'd even go so far as to say su****ious because he has a point to prove, but after the hair test came back clean he essentially said, "I'm clean, now GTFO." There's still that lingering su****ion though and he's not acting like a guy who prides himself on being a clean athlete.

Don't give me the "he has money" excuse either. Just because one has money doesn't mean they like to bleed cash. There have been a lot of high-profile fights in the past where neither guy did testing because they didn't want to pay for it.
Like I told Maxi though, I think it's foolish for Canelo not to do frequent VADA for the next few months to clear his public image. It's absolutely worth the investment in that regard, IMO.

Canelo on the Mayweather blueprint, he himself decides when he is getting tested, so he can cheat freely and cycle off in time. No wonder Canelo is getting support from the same usual suspects on this matter. Dont ever call yourself boxing fans if you support this crap.

You're missing the most obvious reason. Go get a quote for comprehensive year-round testing and tell me what the bill comes to. Most fighters don't do 365 testing for this very reason.

"testing is very expensive" LOL!!!!
it sounds a little su****ious to me
but, I would do that anyway.... for leverage to force them to sign the fight quickly
if Team Bullshht walk away from that fight, crying about testing..... when they 100% KNOW that they could simply agree to the same conditions they accepted last time, and force Canelo to start testing immediately..... then I will know whats up
and so will everyone else, I will make sure of that lol

Edit: yes, this is a rhetorical question. Most everyone who has followed boxing for more than 20 minutes knows that nobody waits until fight week to sign contracts lol

lmao here's the answer to why clenelo hasn't enrolled yet. (if red fox saying "it's expensive" wasn't bad enough)

Originally posted by bigdunny1 View PostProbably because he doesn't want to be told what to do by GGG. But as long as he is vada tested I could care less. What difference does it make if he enrolls today then the fight is signed on Monday or if GGG signs today and Vada testing starts monday. GGG can negotiate the start time in the contract. WBC has literally nothing to do with this. Canelo didn't fight for their belt last time nor was he ranked by them. Actually the highest ranking canelo had by any of the belt orgs was the WBO which GGG doesn't have. The belt orgs didn't enforce canelo/GGG last Sept and all the orgs made exceptions or broke their own rules to allow it and had nothing to do with the drug testing last fight or may. This is meaningless especially since they are admitting that as soon as the fight is signed which will include VADA they will just add him back to the rankings mysteriously just like they did after the first fight.
