I also would like to see him apologize to GGG. And start year round VADA testing on his dime.
That would go a long way with his fans. And of course he has to pass the tests.
And I agree. Canelo needs to enroll in 365 24/7 testing for a good year or so/3 fights (whichever comes first). There's absolutely no reason why he should not be enrolled in WBC's CBP after all of this. I mean, what type of PR team does GBP have. That should be the veryyyyy first thing he does.

Honestly I dont know why Canelo is still with him? His biggest fight of his career and Oscar was checking into rehab. And now this sht???

Him making $1m is already a serious pay cut to what he's been making in his last 5 to 6 previous fights.
If HBO would have opened their budget and paid GGG how he's been getting paid (not including the Canelo fight), different story.
I just wish they would have suspended Canelo much sooner. Like, 2 weeks after he was busted. That way the Sergiy fight could have gone on smoothly with no hiccups.
Again, just to be clear, I didn't like Vanes as an opponent. I just don't know who was willing to fight GGG for $200k. We don't know Andrade's price or if they even spoke to him. We know Spike said no to the price. All the other middleweights had fights coming up. And the Sergiy issue was too complicated.
Oh well. We'll see what they do from here on out.

Canelo needs to go the route of Oscar, Floyd, and Cotto. Fight for yourself. Promoters can still promote your fights if you fight someone in their stable. But, at this point, what value does Oscar add that he hasn't already have? I don't see it.

I remember last year, when GGG wanted to fight in June, Oscar said if he does, then it will kill the promotion of the fight between Canelo and GGG for September. Maybe that was on his mind again this year. I'm not sure. I'm just basing it off of what happened last year.

I understand his fear. No way I'd want to go through that again. GGG wants to have a longer career to cash in. He knows facing Canelo means that Golovkin will be shortening his career and earning potential. He's already 36.

No one claims the Eubank fight was a draw. Saunders won it.
You know Saunders is all wrong for Golovkin so will try and rubbish that fight as much as you can. But don't worry, Sanchez is doing the same thing because he knows Saunders is a big problem. They will not fight him next, they won't fight him at all.
Lemieux kept coming forward looking for the KO but was picked off he never changed his game plan when obviously it wasn't working, should of used his jab more tried to set up BJS. I know why Lemieux didn't it would of been boring a boring fught. Other than this fight name me a fight where BJS looked world class, I can't. Anyway GGG is way better than Lemieux not even in his class and BJS will be broken down and stopped late on.
That is my opinion but let's wait and see when they fight, I think if BJS gets past Murray and GGG doesn't secure Canelo rematch then this could be next Provided he stays injury free but again his injured before the Murray fight which seems a common factor with him and that will be his excuse either to avoid GGG or when he loses.
