SHHHHHHHHHHH. I was excited about the first one. Ready to see the second one. But now I really don't care if they fight again. The thrill has passed with that one.

Yeah I’m starting to sway this way too. What with all the controversy, all the back and forth and all the excess drama that has come out of this whole GGG/Canelo episode has kinda dirtied the whole thing. There was ****** drama in the build ups, there wa ****** controversy with the result for the first, there was corruption and so forth for the second...etc.

If the rematch never happened now I genuinely don’t think many people would mind. Deep down we’d all enjoy to see it, we’d all watch it. If that fight was next week we would all watch for sure. But given the whole situation and all the water that has passed under the bridge, it seems that the general attitude towards these two fighting again is “meh, if it happens it happens”.

Put it this way, if Golovkin went his own route and took on Saunders and Charlo over the next year or so for example, history would look on him with extreme favour. It already kinda does. The same can not and will not be said for Canelo.
