Murata is a true MW and better than Canelo so huge respect to Gennady for traveling to face this guy. This is why Gennady is considered the greatest fighter of all time.

All the guys you listed Gennady would be a small betting favorite.

            Ggg v Danny - Ggg (-)480
            Ggg v Canelo - Ggg (-)185
            Ggg v Canelo rematch - Ggg (-)170

            Ggg v Vanes - Ggg (-)2500
            Ggg v Wade - Ggg (-)7000
            Ggg v Monroe - Ggg (-)2500

In his last 20 fights Gennady has only 4 fights where he is favored at less than (-)1000. Which translates to there were only 4 fights he could potentially lose (since picking his opponent to win didn't payout huge)

            That. Is. HORRIBLE.

Ggg is a good, fun fighter, but he's far from an ATG MW. I honestly think Canelo beat him their first fight and he was lucky to get by DJ with the KD.

His fans - people like you - are why Ggg gets so much hate. That and Gennady/Sanchez talking too much about men's muscles, hand wraps, Andre Ward too much for me, anyone 154-168...but fight has to be at 160 (lmfao)

            It gets tiring

So does those high odds say more about GGG's skill or his opponents?

Can you name a single opponent where he wouldn't be the betting favourite?

He would be a betting favorite against any MW, but why he is opting to fight opponents at (-)2500-7000 (Vanes, Wade, Monroe, etc.) instead of the (-)150-500 (Canelo, DJ, Charlo, Sergei, Andrade, etc.) is inexcusable.

Although of course you have several excuses prepared no matter how shit they are

And if he ever held himself to the same standards that he holds others to (dragging KB up to 160 and rejecting request of 157, dragging Canelo up to 160 instead of accepting 157) he would've fought and lost to Andre Ward by now. Heaven forbid we allow him to meet his own standards though...

Muscles too big, handwraps too thick, anyone from 154-168...at 160, and "I am better than bernard hopkins". Yes, Gennady, yes..... XD

Dragging Canelo down to 160, you mean? He fought at 164.5 before 160.

Ward didn't want the fight. "You have to wait for me, I don't have to wait for you."
