It would be ****** to fight Mickey after Linares while having PacMan and Beltran ready for him. High risk, ****** reward. What for is fighting MG if you have 1 or 2 fights of getting bigger name fighting less risky opposition like PacMan or Beltran?

Umm he is taking that exact risk this Saturday. He also took it with Salido, Russell Jr, Rigo and others.

Beltran has the WBO title which most Top Rank fighters hold. Russell was for a title shot, Rigo moved up in weight, Salido he was supposed to beat. Good wins on paper though. Garcia and Easter look like they will unify so Beltran looks like the most logical fight and the winners of those 2 fights can face each other and be undisputed, and should be front runner for fighter of the year. I wouldn't be surprised if he faced Manny at this either.
