    Gennady Golovkin vs. Jermall Charlo.

Charlo puts his undefeated record on the line against Golovkin. Someone's 0 must go.

    Who wins?

Tilt towards G because of his experience and power and jab. But cant count Charlo out so easily. Hes younger, faster and should be able to connect at a decent rate, but how good is his power against a sturdy chin like Golovkins? How is he going to fare against a guy he can’t just walk down? His best chance is to catch G with an uppercut. But is he willing to go through hell? Charlo hasnt shown me hes a guy who can just outbox you. He relies heavily on his speed and power. As we have seen over and over, that can always be neutralized.

good fight, will never happen though unfortunately. Golovkin is clearly the A side and has earned it and won't want to cave on some demands and Charlo will have too much pride to accept a smaller purse and certain conditions

I don't think it'll happen because Charlo is too risky. Nothing against Golovkin but he's getting older and Jermall is the type of hungry lion that takes over a division. His speed, size, power, movement, defense. I think he will show himself to be above both Canelo's and GGs current level. If GG had a close fight with Jacobs, the more aggressive and rugged Charlo beats him.

GG defenders like to say, "but Charlo's resume!" Well, the guy is coming up and is building his resume. If you don't see his talents, then you'll have to learn the slow way and watch and see what happens. The guy is real deal.

GGG doesn't want any of Charlo. Maybe if he could get Canelo type money fighting him, but no way is he going to risk getting KTFO for a purse he could make in a Martin Murray rematch.

What about Prime GGG against the current version of Charlo? I have thought about that one before and it would have foty written all over it. Peace.

Not gonna happen. He's gonna vacate the title because he aint walking thru those right hands to land his own. Charlo hits hard and GGG isn't hard to hit at all. People like to say he does this for action. He has no head movement. The only one of his opponents that couldn't find his head within the past few years was Lemiuex and that's because he's just an overrated punching bag with decent power. Saunders and Rubio showed us that.

Golovkin probably stops him around the 8th or 9th round. He won't box dumb and play into Charlo's hands. He'll box behind his jab and eventually take him out. Charlo's only shot is by a KO but GGG seems to be made of granite so I doubt he'd be in too much trouble against Charlo even if hit cleanly.

I think the fight has more potential entertainment value than most fights in the division. Neither tends to make for dull action.

Would Haymon even make an effort to make this fight happen?

Charlo is very good but I think GGG is the best middleweight in the world and will remain the best for a couple more years before age takes it's toll. They are both attacking fighters so it should be a bombs away war. Neither boxer has ever been down but GGG's chin is more proven and no middleweight hits as hard as he does. He also has one of the best left jabs in boxing today. I think GGG wins by KO in a hard fought war.
