Comments Thread For: Sanchez: GGG Won't Be Unified Champ; Saunders Won't Fight Him

the ONLY relevant point is.....
Sanchez is well-aware that Saunders agree to their terms last year..... so he is well-aware that Saunders will not price himself out
the muppets who support those comments from Sanchez, are the usual fanboy fcuk-tards that we laugh at every dayComment

The unified champion trying to fight the Ring/Lineal champion, who is considered a P4P fighter.
Hell, Canelo is ranked the P4P king on BoxRec and is ranked in the top 5 in a lot of people's lists, not Jacobs, Charlo, Derevychenko, or Andrade.
Why shouldn't he be trying to fight a P4P level fighter who is considered the lineal (real) champ, who he could make the most money against?
How can the middleweight champ duck a junior middleweight and a super-middleweight/light-heavyweight?
He fought everybody in his division who would fight him. That's all that matters.
And BJS can?
GGG just packed the house in LA on Saturday. You think BJS could do that?
Dude, GGG haters are the most irrational people living
Yeah, that you're in every GGG thread hatin'.
1. if he fought Sanders instead of Canelo last year, y'all would claim he took the easy way out
2. Derevyechanko has 12 fights. If he fought him, y'all would claim he's cherry picking a guy who's not ready yet (the same way people say Floyd cherry picked Canelo, even though he had 42 fights, before that)
He can still be the lineal/ring champ, which is more prestigious than the WBO belt, IMHO
1. GGG did not pack the Stub Hub. There were like 2000 empty seats. Those silly records are relative given that Stub Hub is not a premier boxing venue.
2. Dervy is mando and he asked for the fight. There was no problem fighting mando Wade.
3. Fighting Alvarez is not about the Ring championship. It's about money. GGG AND Loeffler said the goal was all the belts. Saunders has the last one and was ready to fight in June. It's not that ANYONE disagrees with the approach, it's the fact that they are selling folks bs about why.Comment

2. If they agreed on financial terms in March of 2017, then he turns around and asks Jacobs for $7m to fight him, and even Sanchez is surprised at that number, that lets you know that anything near that just can't happen. If the money isn't there to generate Saunders a $7m purse today, there certainly was no way it was there to guarantee him a $7m one year ago.
That fight just can't generate enough for a $25m purse guarantee to be split between the two. That type of coin just doesn't exist.Comment

but when you fight rosado, brook, and vanes then you could have fought lara a few years ago when you need credible opponents and were fighting monroes and wades
when you pursue chavez and froch and claim anyone to 168 but tuck your tail to fight kell brook and dom wade in 2016 after ward contacted you about a fight at 168 then you are ducking
you are asking me how one can duck a 168/175 fighter but it was sanchez who was talking about possibly fighting ward, on camera, when ward was signed to fight kovalev
sanchez was talking about...whether he was asked a question or not he kept it going....when he could have just said "ward isnt on our radar hes up at 175 now"...but he entertained it because he knew he could talk tough and act like he might even want the fight when deep down he knew it would never happend and they already rebuffed ward
i could bust you up all night on this.....but youll never see things for what they are
for years lil g couldnt find credible guys...he was fighting bums and lara would have made a credible opponent....lara had been featured on tv many times and was a known guy...instead he fought dom wades, willie monroes and other c level comp because they were more tailored to make him look good instead of spoil
funny he had no problems fighting vanes, rosado and brook though huh? he dindt duck those jr mws and welters did he?Comment

1. They only agreed on financial terms, based on what Warren says. Warren was the one that drafted the contract. It was an offer to Gennady. Not Loeffler offering Saunders the fight. Huge difference

when Team Bullshht actually make a genuine effort to fight Saunders, you can get back to meComment

You can't come out the bag saying "I will only accept $7m for a fight with Jacobs" and expect a better, bigger draw, 3 title holder to expect that you'd ask for LESS against him.
People have to be reasonable. Fans included.Comment

you..... believing that it is totally pointless for Team Bullshht to even contact Saunders..... because of some off-the-cuff comment he made on the internet regarding someone totally different..... is utterly ridiculous
you can't put words in Saunders mouth regarding a negotiation with Golovkin, over something that Saunders may/or may not have been serious about..... when discussing someone totally different
regarding Golovkin, you LITERALLY completely made up all of that bull****..... and simply would not know

I'm not saying he literally said "before negotiations start, I won't take any less than $7m". I'm saying IF he maintains his stance that he will only fight Jacobs for $7m going into negotiations, then he will essentially price himself out before negotiations even begin.
I'm saying, it stands to reason that IF he asks for $7m to fight Jacobs, (who doesn't own a belt, doesn't sell out any arenas, never been in a mega fight, doesn't have a huge fan base, doesn't have much drawing power, isn't regarded as a p4p fighter, doesn't have anywhere near the status that Gennady does) then he would ask for more against someone who is more dangerous, draws more, has been in a mega fight, and is as big a draw you can get without it being PPV.
Just because I say that, doesn't mean that that's what he is going to say. I'm just a fan. Stop holding what I see as logical, as something GGG/Loeffler have already confirmed. You act like they're on here seeing my comments and decided "you know what, he's right, let's not even negotiate because this guy on a message board says this".
Get real. I'm simply speaking logic and what seems reasonable based on things Saunders and Sanchez said. Once they negotiate, then we will know for sure. But I think we all know for sure that if Saunders demands a $10million guaranteed purse, (before negotiations even kick off) then he officially priced himself out. Would you even agree with that? For some reason I'm starting to think you think tha'ts reasonable.Comment
