At first I wasn't sure what to believe. I didn't know for sure if Saunders asked that much for a Jacobs fight.

But sure enough, it's true

He asked for $5million pounds. Which is $6.7 million US dollars.

That type of money just doesn't exist.

1. When has GGG claimed he was such a big star that he was able to garner enough money to pay an opponent $10 million?

2. It indeed is Saunders' fault for asking so much for a Jacobs fight. That type of money just doesn't exist.

3. You're working off false notions. If the money isn't there, where do they expect the money to come from? It just isn't reasonable.

2. You're right. BJS and Jacobs can NOT generate $7m. And him and GGG can NOT generate $10m JUST for Saunders. That means that GGG's cut would obviously be more than Saunder's cut. There's no way in hell that fight generates $25m. It just doesn't exist

3. I already said that Abel saying Saunders doesn't want to fight GGG is a bit wild. But, reasonably speaking, one of the tactics some people use in order to avoid a fight is pricing themselves out. And it only makes sense that he'd ask for more to fight Gennady than he would ask to fight Jacobs.

4. I already heard the interview he said that in. Him thinking he's a star is correct. Again though, that has nothing to do with being able to afford to shell out $10m for Saunders. There are stars in boxing that just can't generate that type of coin. It's the economics of the fight game.

Sanchez knows if the Canelo rematch falls through the next biggest $, £ fight is Saunders. A stadium sell out in the U.K. Just a wind up to gain interest. Golden Goone will have to make concessions with the Roid cloud hanging over them so depending on how Greedy they are, Loeffler & GGG might say F.U.

I thought there was an article just prior to the Vanes fight that Loeffler was in talks with Saunders about a potential fight in the fall. Did that happen because I can't find it.

It will be considerably more than 7m. I estimated 10m. Just a guess. But I think we'd all agree that Saunders would ask more for Gennady than he would Jacobs.

Abel never said "we won't even try to make that fight happen". He only said how much he asked for Jacobs and stated that he'd ask for more from Gennady.

And Gennady doesn't draw enough to be able to offer others approx. $10million. We agree. We all know that. No one on this planet ever thought that though, so that's a pointless argument.
