    He looks damn good.

On a side note he was only 17 when this happened, I mean I think its fair to cut Ryan some slack here he is very young and I'm sure he will have improved a good bit since then.

Exactly what I thought he was much younger then the other guy and I'd have to see the entire unedited video to see both fighters best work not some garbage edited video. And even then I still wouldn't give a phuk it's just sparring. No clue about the other guy but I'd bet if and when they fight for real ryan ices him.

This is like the clowns who made a big deal of Porter sparring Thurman and claimed he was beat up so bad. yet the full tape came out and it wasn't nothing. And thurman beat Porter when they fought for real showing how meaningless that sparring was. This video means nothing to me. How old was Ryan and how old was the other guy? Yea. Most people don’t understand what sparring is at all. An average person doesn’t really even get boxing.

They had beef prior to the spar so this wasn't guys in there just trying to work. They both were trying to kick the other guys ass.

I remember Ryan tries to cheap shot Romero. During the spar, he gives him the signal to break the clinch (taps him on the back with his gloves), then, as soon as they break Ryan tries to throw a fast power punch on Romero.

Maybe I'm remember wrong, but I'm also pretty sure Ryan ended up with a bloody nose by the end of the sparring session. Glad he got his ass whooped, unfortunately, it hasn't seemed to slow down his ego.

Was that like 2 years ago? Good sparring doe. You learn a lot from those sort of sparring, you could tell he didn’t know how to tie someone up in that spar, but that’s how you learn. He was panicking a bit when the other guy was Shawn portering him. Those are the sort of things his t am need to make sure he works on.

Yeah I didn’t even read any post before posting mine. But I agree with you guys, people taking some sort of joy from a teenager sparring lol. Like “He is getting his a*s kicked yah”, like that’s how they would learn!

Rolando Romero is a solid mfer. I've seen him a couple times in Vegas & hyped him on this site a couple times. He's signed by Floyd. Las Vegas native. 36-9 as an amateur. Cuban heritage.

He throws with bad intentions & gots some nice body shots too iirc. I don't think its necessarily THAT bad to look bad in sparring vs Romero.
