The Charlo's are in that spot that many of the guys who are #1 right now were in at one point. Thurman. GGG himself. Spence.

Too good for their own good. There is more risk then reward for fighting them. If you fight them & lose you are on their resume dressing it up a lil more & if you win you just beat the guy who sure is the boogieman in the division, but doesn't got that sexy resume that'll do you much good necessarily.
i think you just proved his point lol. jermell barely beat vanes and jermall barely beat past prime trout. and when i say barely beat, a lot of people thought they lost. basically they werent talked aboiut until jermall moved up to 160 and people could make a boogeyman for golovkin.

Not sure why this is turning into an argument, it’s a simple question. All it’s needed now is an answer with a list of names . He has over 20 fights so it’s irrelevant whether they were known names or not.

        Here is my list:
        Julian Williams
        Trout
        Bundrage
        Centeno
        Heiland.

Why are people so threatened by the fact that a lot of people see great talent in Jermall? The guy is coming up, of course he doesn't have big names yet. If you hate him now though, you're really going to hate him when he beats up on your heroes.

Isnt this the same problem that golovkin had?
Good fighter and no real names on his resume

I hope he can get a title shot soon if he can get saunders and then go for GGG that would be epic fight

All that matters is he won the fights required by the sanctioning body to be the #1 contender. As the #1 contender, GGG is required to defend the title against him or he will be stripped of the belt.

When they fight, barring any BS, the best man will win. Nothing wrong if people think or want that to be Charlo.
For this current situation. Yeah, alright, Charlo is appointed the mandatory, GGG should face him or the other mandatories.

But shouldnt there be a better process for mandatories especially for unified champions in the future?
I would like mandatoris to prove themselves somehow, for example by beating another top5 guy.

As we have it now, Murata is mandatory for beating N'Dam, Charlo is mandatory for beating a cripple and a fringe dude and derevyanchenko is mandatory for beating crippled soliman and tureano johnson, who was knocked out by stevens.

It's too easy to get a mandatory position and that brings us to another problem.
If it is that easy to just wait until the mandatory gets enforced, there is no incentive for those guys to take risks.

Neither Jacobs, Murata, Derevyanchenko, nor Charlo have an incentive to fight dangerous opponents, because they can just wait until the title fight is calling.

So if those abc belts get together and appoint a unified mandatory challenger by having their guys fight each other, we get 1) more worthy mandatories 2) more seasoned challengers.

I wasnt alive during the one title per weightclass period, but would guys like derevyanchenko, charlo, murata or jacobs been appointed the mandatory without fighting final eliminations against top guys?

He’s up and coming. He’s trying to win his best fights now that’s why he’s calling out GGG.

It’s the ******ed boxing fans bro. They use that as an excuse for cherry picker Golovkin to avoid the top young MW even though his resume is super trash.

You asked why should we discuss it or w/e & I said why. I rambled a lil bit as I can do & maybe that wasn't directly related to your question, but it followed with my thought process. Wasn't trying to take you out of context. I don't think I really understood your context in the first place to talk on it or out of it I was merely saying I'm pro discussing sh^t like that.

Charlo was a champion in the division below. They are always rated higher once they move up and rightfully so in most instances.
