Comments Thread For: Jose Pedraza Back on Crawford-Horn, Eyes Ray Beltran Shot

Former world champion Jose "Sniper" Pedraza will not have to wait long to return to the ring. The Puerto Rican boxer is on schedule to challenge Mexican fighter Antonio "Tono" Moran for the Latin belt of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) at the lightweight limit of 135 pounds.

Pedraza/Beltran makes a lot of sense, in house fight for Arum and the winner can eventually be fed to Lomachenko. A full unification between Lomachenko and Garcia with each bringing in 2 belts would be epic

Really wanted to see Luke Campbell get a shot at Beltran to set up a Loma match next, but Top Rank really wants to give Beltran a pay day.

Maybe Campbell should go for the WBA regular belt.

Lomachenko is coming to town! Crawford is coming to town too! Oscar Valdez can't wait his turn! Pacquiao is coming home soon! That's the way to do it grandpa Bob!

Campbell is facing Yvan Mendy in a rematch in a WBC Final Eliminator next, it has been confirmed.

The chances of Campbell beating Mikey are smaller than him winning the WBO or WBA belts.
Should have tried to negotiate something with Top Rank or tried to go the WBA route since the WBA loves to give titles away.
Campbell could have fought Crolla for the WBA regular. Both are rated highly by the WBA and that's a fight they wanted to make anyway.

I have no interest in Loma facing Campbell if Campbell isn't a World Champion. Top Rank really wants to set up Loma-Campbell as if it's huge fight.
Unless Campbell gets himself a title then I would much rather see Loma fight someone else.

I like that Cambpell is avenging his defeat to Mendy, but that's the only thing I like about that fight. I'm in the minority but I don't think Campbell lost that night. Not a great performance by any means, but Mendy got too much credit for simply coming forward, sometimes not doing much; not that Luke was doing a whole lot either.

Mikey Garcia is a cherry picker.

Mikey is hard to deal with because he thinks he is a bigger star than what he really is, but I bet he wouldn't have a problem facing Campbell.
