Lomachenko is HUGE FAVOURITE vs Linares according to Bookmakers!

Coefficient for Loma's victory is only 1.11, while for Linares' is 6.7... Meaning if you bet $100 on Loma's victory you will get only $111, but if you bet on Linares you will get $670!

I think Linares could be a fairly difficult match for at least the first half of the bout. There's usually little value betting Loma unless you put a few G's on it. I went to the Walters fight in Vegas and thought he'd be like -300 but he was -700. Amazingly the Rigo fight was around -350 which was incredibly easy money.

This will be his most competitive fight since his 2nd fight.

Of course he is a big favorite. Many rate him the best PFP boxer in the world. I have never heard of anybody having Linares in their top 10 PFP. Linares is good but not good enough.

So a near 7-1 underdog then?
I still wouldn't bet on Linares, the guy fights in a clean composed manner which I don't think that's how you beat Lomachenko, you have to be next level to beat Lomachenko at his own game because he does it so freaking good.
Unless Linares bring an entire new him to this fight and fight in an aggressive manner I really don't see him winning, but then we also have the problem with him fighting that way with the very weak chin that Linares has.

Odds are clearly against Linares for a good reason.

Of course he is. He does everything Linares does, but faster, in greater volume, and is the fresher man. I love watching Linares, but TBH his only real path to victory seems to be to set him up and catch him with something clever. If only it were that easy.

I hope it's competitive but I have a feeling Loma will just put on a clinic.

odds are way way off it should be 1/3 or 1/4 not 1/9 thats insane.
Loma is the one moving up, yet the odds would have you think it was vice versa.

then you have the size advantage, and the speed differential is not that far apart at all, Linares is one of the fastest guys in the sport with the quickest hands.

Having said all that i won't be betting on either guy, Linares skin is paper thin and he might even get stopped on cuts.
