Professional and sharp performance, but the short notice + long layoff + step up in weight by Vanes heavily limits the credit he can take from it. He ended it too quickly imo, if he carried him another three or four rounds at least the fans might be able to feel like they got their money's worth.

umm boxers have a right to fight on the backfoot, its called boxing. most good ones do it all the time.

If they dont do it when its called for, they are crap-middling/green boxer, or simply cant master that art.

Vanes isnt top comp, but hes a fair challenger. Plus 2nd round KO is a good result 3G.

he didnt give Lara fits, it was stopped on TD.

Charlo fights usually go to decisions, theres no difference in vanes reslt than most of charlos.
