Always surprised me when people said he was getting old to be honest. I mean, he is but look at his debut in America against Proska. He fought almost the same way he fought tonight. He just used his job more in the fight. He just couldn’t tonock out Jacobs or Canelo because those are special quality fighters. Not the average C level fighter. Not to knock Golovkin or anything. Against C and B level fighters, he just runs right through with his power. Against A level, his pressure is what helps him get through. You need to recheck your age numbers and when some of those boxers were in their prime. Hagler retired years before he was 36. Leonard was shot and finished at 36. Tyson was well past prime at 36 and so was Jones and Duran. Mayweather aged well but he was also past prime at 36. 36 is old for a boxer. It always has been and it always will be. GGG is great for his age but he is past his prime. He may remain excellent for a while longer. He might improve due to experience but physically he will not improve.
