Seriously boxers never age past 35. Roy jones jr was a monster at 36. So was tyson, hagler, leonard, duran, and hearns. Mayweather also had fresh legs at 36 37. GGG has not even reached his prime yet. Guy will peak when he's 39. Seriously no joke. Imagine ggg at 39 in his prime. His reflexes now are no different than when he was 30. Same speed everything. Once he turns 45 then we can say he's past his prime but until then 36 is the new 24. It's been proven through boxing history. No doubt.
GGG has still not reached his prime yet. 36 is new 24.

Always surprised me when people said he was getting old to be honest. I mean, he is but look at his debut in America against Proska. He fought almost the same way he fought tonight. He just used his job more in the fight. He just couldn’t tonock out Jacobs or Canelo because those are special quality fighters. Not the average C level fighter. Not to knock Golovkin or anything. Against C and B level fighters, he just runs right through with his power. Against A level, his pressure is what helps him get through. I think GGG has a little bit more in him until he begins to deteriorate.Comment

You need to recheck your age numbers and when some of those boxers were in their prime. Hagler retired years before he was 36. Leonard was shot and finished at 36. Tyson was well past prime at 36 and so was Jones and Duran. Mayweather aged well but he was also past prime at 36. 36 is old for a boxer. It always has been and it always will be. GGG is great for his age but he is past his prime. He may remain excellent for a while longer. He might improve due to experience but physically he will not improve.Seriously boxers never age past 35. Roy jones jr was a monster at 36. So was tyson, hagler, leonard, duran, and hearns. Golovkin beats Stevens, Rubio etc - "Golovkin is a beast, he's in his prime"
Golovkin goes 12 with Jacobs and Canelo - "Golovkin is old now, he's slowed down"
Golovkin stops Martirosyan a fight after Canelo - "Golovkin is in his prime now (again), he's a beast"
Bum Drama Show squad is a ****ing joke of a fan base, as bad as Pac Tards and Flo-mosComment

ah the only guys who aged well in boxing are drug cheats like
Hopkins
Toney
Foreman
Mayweather
Holyfield
Foreman's body was not natural in his resurgence and this was the holyfield era where there simply was no VADA testing.
Hopkins declined VADA testing from Jean Pascal. no body gave him flack for it. Of course not. he's just a harmless old man. Of course he's clean. He's drugged.
Mayweather was caught with an illegal needle in his arm.
The fact is fighters are past prime at 35. Golovkin's had a long amateur career that raked up miles similar to Kostya Tszyu. He's no where near prime anymore.
The problem too is that he's under constant scrutiny because he's not the house fighter nor an american. He's not going to get away with drug cheating like the Foremans, Mayweathers and Hopkins.Last edited by HeadShots; 05-06-2018, 10:24 AM.Comment
