Bellew has more than solidified his place over Calzaghe

    In British boxing's history.

On one hand you have a guy with a carefully cherry picked career, undefeated, never took any risks.

On the other hand you have a guy with a couple losses, BUT he fought everyone, took all the risks he could, and has won a title in 3 different weight classes.

But for some reason people will still favor the cherry picker, the guy that didn't take risks just because of that 0 on their record, nothing else matters but that 0. Bellew deserves all the credit in the world, seriously, you cannot downplay his achievements.

Well, one could argue that his wins over Haye is similar to Kevin McBride's win over Mike Tyson. Kevin McBride goes around saying he "beat Mike Tyson" and that's a little misleading.

He's won one world title and openly admits he won't fight any HW's. Took all risks though.

LOL....no, just no. Calzaghe retired undefeated, 46-0. Bellew got KTFO by Duckingson and Zags has more KO's than Bellew even has wins for crying out loud.

Lol. This forum is killing me today. Can't even tell what's real and what's trolling. Been fun though.

This is what I'm talking about. Would Joe retire undefeated fighting in 3 weight classes?

Joe's resume is like 98% C level fighters. When you beat a few C level fighters it=Trash resume. But when you rack up 40 it's "OMG ATG HOF FIGHTER"

Name a single win Calzaghe has better than even Makabu.

Fought the "next Mike Tyson"..........utterly destroyed him.

Fights the man that everyone pegged to really dismantle him at SMW, Kessler, and takes his 0.

Flies across the pond to move up in weight and beat two boxing legends at LHW in back to back fights before retiring undefeated.

Joe took all the risks he needed to take to retire with honor, coke nosed or not. The guy was always doubted regardless of who he fought, yet he emerged a winner in the end. If anything, the guy is one of the most underrated boxers in the past 20 years.

Bellew gets pimp slapped up by the Grandmaster CalSlapper!

Bellew would lose to 175 Hopkins and eaten by prime Mikkel Kessler!

                  Stop it!
